About Marilyn Hartness
Marilyn Hartness is the owner and creator of Belle Terre Gallery. She is retired from Wingate University, where she taught ceramics and ceramics art history. As an associate art professor, Marilyn inspired students to evoke philosophical thinking into their clay work, as they worked on their ceramic assignments.

Belle Terre Gallery creates utilitarian ware, sculptures and equine fantasy art which is inspired by her love of nature and horses. Her art may incorporate statements about ecology and current events and often incorporate themes of hope and the belief that anything is possible..
